Age Ranges & Rooms
Our indoor spaces are thoughtfully designed to support children at every stage of their early years journey. While each room has a focus linked to age and development, transitions are not fixed; children move between spaces based on their individual readiness, interests, and emotional development. Guided by The Curiosity ApproachⓇ, our environments grow with the child, allowing learning to unfold naturally, at a pace that feels right for them.
Our Indoor Spaces
The Nest (3 months to 18 months approx.)
The Nest is a warm, soothing space where our youngest children feel safe, secure, and deeply cared for by our nurturing team. Soft lighting, natural materials, and sensory experiences support early development while allowing babies the freedom to move, explore, and discover in their own time.
The Hive (18 months to 2.5 years approx.)
The Hive is full of gentle buzz and excitement. Designed for busy, curious toddlers, this space encourages independence, communication, and collaboration. Open-ended resources invite exploration, problem-solving, and imaginative play as children begin to make sense of the world around them.
The Alley
A welcoming area for fun, discovery, and shared experiences. Whether it’s small-world play, role play, or group activities, The Cove offers endless opportunities for children to follow their interests and ideas. Children might practise their fine motor skills using tongs to pick up small objects, or channel their artistry and splash paint.
The Cove
A space for mess, movement, and creative freedom. Children can paint, model, build, and experiment without limits, embracing the joy of getting hands-on and fully immersed in their learning.
Adventurers (2.5 to school age)
Our upstairs spaces are designed especially for our pre-school children, supporting deeper thinking, collaboration, and preparation for the next stage of their learning journey.
The Studio
Music & Performance
A creative space for music, movement, drama, and self-expression. Children explore rhythm, sound, storytelling, and confidence through performance and play.
The Lab
Science & Discovery
A place for curiosity, experimentation, and “what if?” moments. Children investigate cause and effect, explore natural phenomena, and develop early scientific thinking through hands-on experiments.
The Corner
Library & Literacy
A calm, inviting library space filled with stories, books, and cosy corners. Children can relax, share stories, develop a love of reading, and build early literacy skills.
The Site
Construction & STEM
A dynamic construction and building area focused on STEM learning. Using real-world materials and tools, children plan, build, test, and problem-solve. This develops resilience, teamwork, and critical thinking.
