Our nursery is a calm, inspiring environment designed to spark children’s natural curiosity and support them as confident, capable learners. Inspired by The Curiosity ApproachⓇ, we believe children learn best through hands-on exploration, real experiences, and meaningful connections—with people, materials, and the world around them.
Every space in our curiosity approach nursery has been thoughtfully created to feel homely, purposeful, and rich in opportunity, allowing children to explore at their own pace while being gently guided by our experienced, nurturing team.
Kitchen & Dining
Our nursery kitchen and dining room are at the heart of our community. Children enjoy fresh, delicious meals prepared daily by our on-site chef, using high-quality ingredients.
Meals are served family-style, encouraging independence, conversation, and social skills. Sitting together to eat fosters a sense of belonging and helps children develop healthy relationships with food.
Outdoor Space
Our outdoor space is an extension of our learning environment and connection with nature. Children can explore an outdoor kitchen on decking, perfect for messy play, mud cooking, and imaginative experiences. Alongside a large garden that invites climbing, digging, running, and discovery. With spectacular views across Exeter all the way to the Exmouth coast, there's always something to spark curiosity about the wider world.
Learning beyond four walls
Children are encouraged to explore outdoors in all seasons, building confidence, physical skills, and a lifelong appreciation for nature. We believe the outdoors is not a break from learning — it's where some of the most meaningful learning happens.
