Our Approach to Learning
At Adventurers Nursery in Exeter, we follow the principles of The Curiosity ApproachⓇ. Our nursery provides a safe, nurturing and enabling environment where children learn through play, exploration and positive relationships. We follow children’s interests and support their individual learning styles through carefully planned, open-ended experiences using real and natural materials.
We value child-led learning that is open-ended and rooted in the real world. All of the resources in our nursery have been sustainably sourced from charity shops, auctions, or donated. Everything we do is focused on the child, with our practitioners in place to guide, suggest and nurture.
We believe childhood should be unhurried, joyful, and full of wonder. At Adventurers, curiosity is celebrated every single day.
